Seishinjuku Karate Dojo Brisbane

Welcome to the home of the Seishinjuku Karate Dojo, which is based in Bardon, Brisbane and is the officially registered Dojo of the Shorinjiryu Kenyukai Watanabe Ha Karate Federation in Australia.

We offer karate classes for people seeking a traditional Japanese Karate experience, with a focus on our five primary tenants – Manners, Respect, Responsibility, Effort and Appreciation.

Whether you’re seeking a new challenge both physically and mentally, or are interested in a diverse and contemporary Martial Arts style, we look forward to seeing you in the Dojo. We have a free trial class available for everyone so you can be sure you are happy with your decision before commencing your martial arts journey. Call us now on 0449 219 479

We deliver programs for children between the ages of 5 – 15. We also offer separate adult classes open to all.

Our classes are small enough to allow for individual attention but big enough to provide energy and dynamism in every class. Our emphasis is on the personal development of every child and adult utilising Karate as the vehicle. Our Students have the opportunity for Promotions and competitions both locally and Internationally.

Seishinjuku Karate Dojo is a wonderful, warm and welcoming dojo to train, learn and meet new friends. I really appreciate the open environment and the well crafted and hard training - both help me to be a better martial artist. Thank you, Sensei

Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a fun way to help their kid’s fitness (physical and mental). I also suggest trying the adult class so you can practice together at home and help each other learn.

My daughter has been attending Seishinjuku Karate Dojo for just under 2 years now. It is affordable, authentic, welcoming, fun and is a safe environment for learning Karate, respect and trust. The training allows her to develop personally and has pushed her comfort and confidence level beyond what we could do in some of her team sports. The community that has also been developed allows her to feel inclusive, supported and encourages her to continue to learn and try things that can be confronting yet achievable.
